Contemporary Condo Remodel in Downtown Greenville, SC

It’s always an honor to be trusted with clients’ kitchen renovations- especially when that client happens to be a professional chef! When Daniel Lopez, Barcelona native and owner of Greenville-based catering company, Paseo GVL approached us with a downtown condo in need of an overhaul, we knew this project was going to be fun! Ashmore Builders ended up renovating the kitchen and bathroom, taking this condo from boxy and outdated to open and contemporary.

The black and white color palette throughout the renovation lends a minimalistic and contemporary look to the condo. The bathroom’s walk-in shower with paned glass, combined with matte black fixtures and juxtaposing tile create a modern look. While the kitchen’s dark island paired with white cabinets and open shelving makes the space feel more open and inviting. What was once a tiny, walled off kitchen is now the perfect spot for entertaining guests. I know we say this all the time, but it’s hard to believe the before and afters of this condo renovation! It just goes to show the difference that an optimized floor plan and storage solutions can do to transform a space.

True to Spanish hospitality, Daniel invited our team over to celebrate the completed renovation with a delicious dinner and cocktails. No better way to wrap up a project in our opinion!
